Chichen Itza Classic

Chichen Itzá, founded in 514 BC, was one of the capitals of the great Mayan civilization and is currently named one of the "7 New Wonders of the Modern World".

It was the most outstanding capital of the Mayan area, at the end of the Classic period and the beginning of the Postclassic. Upon the arrival of the Spaniards, it was constituted as the most revered center of worship and pilgrimage in the Yucatan Peninsula.

While we go to Chichen Itzá you can make a stop to cool off in the crystalline windows and to enjoy the beauty of a cenote where you can go swimming and enjoy this natural beauty or visit the colonial city of Valladolid and admire the beauty of its cathedral or visit an old Franciscan convent, witnesses of the conquest.
